The Ultimate Family Trip to Two Rivers, Wisconsin
Kid-tested. Parent-approved. Adventure guaranteed.

Looking for your next fun and easy family getaway? Look no further than Two Rivers, Wisconsin! Nestled along the shore of Lake Michigan, this charming lakeside town is packed with activities for kids and grown-ups — and yes, this blog comes officially approved by three very important experts: our own 11, 10, and 6-year-old boys. ✅

Here’s how to make the most of your family trip to Two Rivers:

🛝 Play All Day at NEW Neshotah Park

Start your adventure at the brand-new, handicap-accessible playground at Neshotah Park! This amazing play space has slides, climbing equipment, and fun for all ages and abilities. Parents will love the beautiful lake views while the kids burn off energy on the fresh, colorful equipment. It’s right next to the beach, too — perfect for a combo day of sand and play!

🍕 Pizza, Prizes, and Arcade Games at Port Sandy Bay

Hungry? Head to Port Sandy Bay for dinner and serious fun. Their pizza is legendary (try the cheeseburger pizza — trust us!), and the attached arcade is packed with games and the best prize wall around. Our 6-year-old took home a giant plush shark, and the older boys gave this place two greasy, happy thumbs up.

🎳 Bowl a Strike at Hook Lanes

After dinner, hit up Hook Lanes for a round (or two) of bowling. It's a laid-back, family-friendly alley where the kids can use bumpers and ramps, and everyone can enjoy a little friendly competition. Plus a BRAND NEW ARCADE!

🎮 Level Up at Heroes Venture Arcade

For the ultimate gaming session, stop by Heroes Venture Arcade. With everything from retro classics to modern favorites, this place is perfect for kids who love video games (and parents who remember playing them back in the day). Bonus: there’s no such thing as too many tickets here.

🧗‍♂️ Explore, Shop & Discover

Got a kid who loves rocks, fossils, or treasures? Don’t miss the Two Rivers Rock Shop. It’s like a real-life treasure hunt, with crystals, geodes, and all kinds of cool finds that spark curiosity and imagination.

After that, head downtown to:

  • Schroeder’s Department Store for clothes, souvenirs, and old-school vibes

  • The Read Apple for fun toys and games

  • Paper Cranes Bookstore for your next beach read or bedtime story

🚴‍♂️ Golf Cart, Pedal Boat, Kayak

Rent a golf cart, pedal boat, kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and more from Two Rivers Rentals (that’s us!). You can cruise along the coast, paddle the East Twin River, or bike the scenic Mariners Trail. Don’t forget your beach towels—Neshotah Beach is the perfect spot for building sandcastles and splashing in the waves.

🍦 End It Sweet

Before you leave town, grab a scoop from The Washington House Berners Ice Cream Parlor, named after the inventor of the ice cream sundae. It’s the perfect way to end a perfect family day.
